Why is my customer getting an error saying their email address is already in use if they've never created an account?

Customers trying to check out for the first time but are getting an error saying they've already created an account

We save customer email addresses across restaurants in Brandibble so if your customers have ordered before with another restaurant using our platform, they'll get an error message telling them that they've already created an account when trying to check out on your site. 

The easiest way to fix this is to send them a password reset email directly from your site so they can log in.
