How to override the tax on certain menu items

Brandibble allows you to override the location-specific sales tax for individual items. This setting should really only be used when specific menu items are taxed differently than the default sales tax. To learn how to apply additional taxes to certain menu items, click on the link at the bottom of this article.

To set up a Sales Tax Override, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Menus > Menu Items and select the item you'd like to edit

  2. Click on Advanced Settings and under Item-Specific Taxes, add a Sales Tax Override

  3. When you're done, click on Save Changes

  4. Regenerate your menus
